Delete your ParentLoop account

You can delete your account without the app. Enter the address you sign in with and we will email you a confirmation button. This is free.

What happens after you confirm

The account is deleted after 7 days. Until then you can cancel with the link in the email we send, and a notification appears on any phone you are still signed in on. After seven days the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What we delete

Your account and profile, messages, spending, tasks, documents, and the children’s data nobody but you uses. Paired child devices stop working.

What stays

If your co-parent still uses ParentLoop, the shared children’s data stays with them — we cannot delete their copy of a shared history. We also keep a hash of your address and the dates of the request, as proof that we honoured it in time.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play, and does not refund it. Cancel it in your store’s subscription settings before you delete the account.

Still have the app?

It is quicker there: Settings → Delete data & account. That deletes immediately, with no waiting.

Child access in ParentLoop kids

ParentLoop kids has no accounts of its own — a parent sets up and removes the child’s access. To unpair a child’s phone or remove a child’s profile without deleting your own account, open the ParentLoop app: on the child’s profile tap “Pair a device” → “Unpair ParentLoop kids”, or go to Settings → Manage family → “Remove” next to the child (if another parent also has access to the child’s profile, their approval is needed). A child can delete their own calendar events directly in ParentLoop kids.
